Background
Tensei shitara Ken deshita was initially released as a web novel on the user-generated site Shousetsuka ni Narou in October 2015. Micro Magazine acquired the rights to the series under the GC Novels imprint and began publishing volumes in July 2016. On May 30th, a limited edition fifth volume was released and bundled with a drama CD with voices provided by Satoshi Hino and Inori Minase, among others. Tensei shitara Ken deshita has been published digitally in English as Reincarnated as a Sword by Seven Seas Entertainment under the Airship imprint since May 2, 2019, and in print since August 6, 2019.

Released just months after the original light novel's publishing, Tensei shitara Ken deshita was serialized in the Denshi Birz magazine; the manga was then published in Comic Boost after the former magazine ended. Summary
