My Happy Marriage
わたしの幸せな結婚
SummaryMiyo Saimori was the unfortunate child of a loveless, arranged marriage. After her mother died, her father brought in his lover and other daughter, Kaya. From then on, Miyo's life was reduced to that of a mere servant. Even worse, while Kaya inherited the family's psychic abilities, Miyo had none—she was truly the daughter with no merit.

After years of being treated like dirt, Miyo has learned to keep her head down, hide her pain, and obey every order. So, it comes as no surprise that she is arranged to be married to Kiyoka Kudou, a military captain rumored to be so cruel that he has driven away every one of his potential wives so far.

From a painful upbringing to a painful marriage, that is the future that awaits Miyo—or so she thinks. Contrary to her expectations, her new husband is actually kind-hearted. What really awaits Miyo is a blissful, everlasting marriage full of happiness!

My Happy Marriage
わたしの幸せな結婚
SummaryEver since her mother's death, Miyo Saimori has had little other than her memories to remind her of happiness. Being talentless herself, Miyo has grown up in the shadow of her gifted stepsister and faced every snide remark thrown her way without complaint. Her stepmother's loathing for her is evident in the way she treats Miyo: devoid of any scrap of pity or concern. Miyo accepts that her fate is to slave away for her uncaring family—until her father arranges for her to be wed to Kiyoka Kudou, a revered man with a military background.

The rumors about Kudou are grim, and he is infamous for having been incredibly unkind to all his prospective brides in the past. When Miyo, armed with the barest of essentials for a new life, arrives at her betrothed’s residence, she is bewildered to find that not all hearsay about Kudou is true. As she begins to separate fact from fiction, Miyo hopes that her marriage will finally give her the happiness she desires.

SummaryMisery seems everlasting in Miyo Saimori's life. Born from an arranged marriage, she was quickly discarded after her mother's tragic death. Her father remarried, and her younger half-sister Kaya received all the affection, while Miyo was degraded to a lowly servant. Lacking the strength to fight against her family's abuse, Miyo loses hope that her luck will ever turn.

Unexpectedly, Miyo’s father summons her to deliver surprising news: she is to marry Kiyoka Kudou, the head of the distinguished Kudou family. Despite his noble background, Kiyoka is known to be a callous man who has thus far dismissed all of his former fiancées.

Upon arriving at the Kudou household, Miyo expects coarse treatment and to be tossed aside. However, contrary to her assumptions, Kiyoka shows her the kindness and love that she has desperately needed. Marrying Kiyoka may be Miyo’s one chance to break free from her neglectful family and embrace a life of happiness.
